Rules:

1) You are NOT required to sell tickets to secure your playing slot. No “Pay for Play”!

2) There is NO WINNER by APPLAUSE by the most fans present. By all means, bring your fans, but this is a talent competition, not a rowdy loud cheering fan competition. Your interaction with the crowd and how the fans react to you the judges will see.

3) REAL Judges will be presiding over the competition. Judges are supplied by our sponsors. All judges operate under the exact same scoring rules provided to them for each band. Judges score you, and totals are made. This means you only need to be good at what you do, when you do it. Playing last is not a BIG advantage.

4) All bands know the exact criteria the judges use to score the competition before they arrive at the competition.

5) Judges watch band interaction with the crowd & crowd response, but the loudest applause by the most fans present is not what wins this competition.

Who may Compete? Is there a registration fee?
Solo/Duo/Trio Acts to Full Bands may enter. All genres are highly encouraged! This contest is also open to cover bands as well. There is an age limitation for bands and that is 18+ (Venue may impose age limit to enter facility).
Band registration fee is $25. This is all that’s required to enter other than the rules stated above.

This competition is intended for singer songwriters to full bands. Just because you may wish to perform as a solo acoustic act, you are in no way at a disadvantage to a band.

All JUDGES function under the same criteria and you are judged on the quality of your performance.
