Two singers who are closing out controversial years made Barbara Walters’ annual “Fascinating People” show. Why are we so fascinated with these people? Is it that their music is that good?
Lambert’s appearance was anticipated as his grand return to ABC, the network that aired last month’s American Music Awards and then canceled two of the American Idol breakout star’s appearances because he showed himself to be “unpredictable” on live television. When asked if he would change his behavior during the AMA’s , he stated NO!
Walters also questioned famously bisexual Lady Gaga about her sexual lyrics and performances, and Gaga responded by removing her sunglasses and getting serious (”I don’t take my glasses off for many interviews but I’ll take them off for you,” she said).
For many fans they live and breathe these popular music icons. Is music really this way or is the younger generation confused by what music is? The one good thing about arts and music is no matter what the next person says, art and music are always left up to interpretation.
